ME London Unveils New Immersive Installation for Festive Season: ARCTIC LUMINA – Winter in Motion     

This festive season, ME London’s iconic Atrium was transformed by renowned digital artist Mathieu Le Sourd, otherwise known as MAOTIK, who promises to transport visitors to an immersive winter wonderland through the senses. ARCTIC LUMINA – Winter in Motion seamlessly blended frosty landscapes with abstract visuals, accompanied by a harmonious symphony of sound and scent for a truly mesmerising experience. No two viewings of the installation were the same, as it responds to the audience’s movement through dynamic shapes and colours. Set within the heart of the luxury lifestyle hotel, the exhibition provided an alternative festive experience for both Londoners and visitors to the capital.  

The launch event was a fantastic addition to London itineraries over the festive season. Guests received a first look at MAOTIK’s installation, experienced a painting masterclass with abstract artist Tom Payne, live music from DJ’s The Collyer Twins, and enjoyed Xīn and Voltaire luxury frozen sorbet cocktails throughout the evening. Serving all four of their signature blends, Xīn and Voltaire perfectly complimented the ambiance, and offered another level to the immersive experience with the frozen and refreshing sensorial beverage mirroring the landscapes depicted by ARCTIC LUMINA.
