    • HOW DO I ENJOY XĪN AND VOLTAIRE?
      Enjoyed alfresco by the pool or at garden party; savoured during a dinner party or as a digestif to extend the evening. Your pleasure, your rules.
    • WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M NOT IN WHEN MY ORDER HAS BEEN DELIVERED?
      We have carefully packed your order with enough dry ice to ensure your frozen delivery arrives in perfect condition. We strongly advise that you or someone else is available to accept the delivery on your chosen delivery date to avoid any potential issues or damaged stock. As this is a frozen delivery, all deliveries will be made on the first attempt. All our orders are shipped using DHL, and the drivers have been instructed to leave the order in a safe place if you are not in. We regret that any missed delivery or rescheduled delivery dates may lead to spoiled stock, and no refund will be given. You can track the progress of your parcels using the tracking link provided on the day of delivery where you will be given a time slot for delivery. When the delivery has been made, check your order to make sure everything is ok and place your sorbet cocktails into the freezer. It’s worth knowing, once the delivery has left our facilities, we do not have any control over them. We are not responsible for DHL’s delivery, however if they do not arrive on your chosen delivery day, please contact us.
    • HOW DO I AMEND MY SUBSCRIPTION?
      1. Visit the ‘My Account’ page of the Xīn and Voltaire website and log in to your account.
      2. When logged in, click ‘Subscriptions’ from your account menu.
      3. From the 'Actions' section, you can manage all aspects of your subscription, including change your delivery date, change payment details, change address, or cancel your subscription altogether.
      4. Under the 'SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS' section, you will find your upcoming subscription order. From here you can amend the contents of your order by clicking 'UPDATE SUBSCRIPTION' next to your chosen box size and follow the steps of placing a new subscription order.
    • HOW DO SUBSCRIPTIONS WORK?
      • You must have a user account to order a subscription box.
      • Your first order will be delivered on your nominated delivery day. Subsequent orders will be delivered based on your subscription frequency.
      • Your subscription will be delivered on the same day of the week as your first delivery unless you change the delivery date for subsequent deliveries.
      • You will be notified by email 7 days before your next delivery to confirm the delivery date. From this email you can confirm or change your next delivery date. We will let you know when the last date to make changes to your next delivery is in that email.
      • Payment will depend on your chosen subscription frequency and be taken from the registered payment type stored on your Xīn and Voltaire account either on the same day each month or every 14 days following the first payment being made.
      • You can cancel anytime. Please read our terms and conditions for more information.
    • WHEN SHOULD I STORE MY PRODUCTS IN THE FREEZER?
      Immediately. We take great care in packaging your Xīn and Voltaire sorbet cocktails, so they remain frozen from when they leave our freezers to when they arrive at your door. As our sorbet cocktails contain a high alcohol level, they will melt quicker than standard ice creams or sorbets. Once you have opened your box, enjoy your Xīn and Voltaire sorbet cocktails immediately or transfer them into the freezer.
    • DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE UK?
      No. For now, we deliver across Mainland UK. We do not yet deliver to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Guernsey or Jersey as these locations aren’t accessible within the required delivery time. This is because it takes two days to reach these places, meaning we can’t guarantee your sorbet cocktails will stay frozen.     • CAN I RECYCLE THE PACKAGING?
      Yes. Our packaging is fully recyclable, and we’ve taken extra care in selecting sustainable and easily recyclable packaging. The insulated sheep’s wool can be repurposed – see woolcool.com for more information.
    • HOW DO I HANDLE THE DRY ICE?
      As we use dry ice, it is essential to open each delivery with care. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide and has a temperature of minus 97 degrees, which can cause skin damage if touched. Please do not open the bag containing dry ice, and keep it in a secure, well-ventilated area until it has fully evaporated before disposing of it.
    • DO I NEED PROOF OF AGE TO ACCEPT MY ORDER FROM THE COURIER?
      Yes. As our sorbet cocktails contain alcohol, you will need to provide proof of age to take delivery of your order.
    • HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO BE DELIVERED?
      Your order will be delivered on your chosen delivery day. Once your order has been processed, you will be notified by the courier when it is ready for dispatch and given a delivery window.
